dekofee Florist’s Tape – Red

Florist’s tape is an essential for sugar flower work. It seals to itself when stretched, with no glue needed: wrapped around a flower wire it creates a neat, even stem while holding petals, leaves and stamens in place.

How to use: tear off a length and gently stretch it — this activates the tack. Then wrap it firmly around the wire, slightly overlapping, working from the top downwards. The tape can also be split in half or into thirds for finer, more delicate stems, which is especially useful on small flowers.

Ideal for binding bouquets, joining flower wires and concealing the stems of finished sugar flowers. The red shade suits Christmas arrangements, poinsettias, roses and Valentine’s designs.
