Description
A show-stopping dessert from a single mould! This closely ribbed, dome-shaped silicone mould echoes the surface of a raspberry, and the hollow at the top is made for filling: cream, fruit jelly, jam or whipped cream all sit beautifully in it.
The finished piece is substantial — around 10.4 cm across and 11.3 cm tall — so it works as a dessert centrepiece or a small cake, served in slices.
Suitable for baking sponge and butter cake batter, and equally good for mousse, panna cotta, jelly and chocolate desserts. The flexible silicone releases the finished bake cleanly and without damage, and the ribbing gives a crisp, well-defined pattern.
Tip: fill the hollow once the cake has cooled completely, and finish with fresh fruit or a dusting of icing sugar.
