Saracino Green Coloured Wafer Paper A4, 0.30 mm 10pcs/pack

Flowers, leaves and printed decorations from a single sheet. Wafer paper is made from potato starch and has a neutral taste, so it sits on any cake without affecting the flavour of the dessert.

Cut it dry with scissors, cutters or a cutting machine. To shape it, hold it over steam or wipe it with a damp brush and it becomes pliable within seconds: fold it, twist it, press it into a petal veiner. Once dry it holds its shape and stays light – it won’t drag down the side of a cake or sink into buttercream.

Available in two thicknesses:

• 0.30 mm – thin and translucent, for delicate petals and leaves and for edible printing. In white, pink, light blue and green.
• 0.60 mm – thicker and stiffer, for larger free-standing decorations, sails and oversized flowers. In white.

It can be printed with an edible inkjet printer, so you can work with your own image, logo or pattern.

Worth knowing: wafer paper is sensitive to moisture. Don’t place it directly on wet cream or fruit – seal it with cocoa butter, edible varnish or a fat-based cream.
